But we have this treasure in jars of clay | ولكن لنا هذا الكنز في أوان خزفية

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed | مكتئبين في كل شئ لكن غير متضايقين

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers | الذين فيهم إله هذا الدهر، قد أعمي أذهان غير المؤمنين

And we all, who with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory | ونحن جميعاً ناظرين مجد الرب بوجه مكشوف

Not that we are competent in ourselves | ليس أننا كفاة من أنفسنا

Uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere | ويظهر بنا رائحة معرفته في كل مكان

For Christ also suffered once for sins | فأن المسيح أيضاً تألم مرة واحدة من أجل الخطايا

But thanks be to God, who leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession | ولكن شكراً لله الذي يقودنا في موكب نصرته

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ | مبارك الله أبو ربنا يسوع المسيح

Christ is gracious and faithful | لأنه مهما كانت مواعيد الله فهو فيه النعم وفيه الأمين

You cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons | لا تقدرون أن تشتركوا في مائدة الرب وفي مائدة شياطين

But when you are tempted He will also provide a way out | سيجعل مع التجربة أيضاً المنفذ

Do not be idolaters, as some of them were | فلا تكونوا عبدة أوثان, كما كان أناس منهم

Everyone who competes in the prize goes into strict training | وكل من يجاهد يضبط نفسه في كل شئ

I have become all things to all people | صرت للكل كل شئ

For this world in its present form is passing away | لأن هيئة هذا العالم تزول

You were bought at a price, do not become slaves of human beings | قد أشتريتم بثمن فلا تصيروا عبيداً للناس

Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing | ليس الختان شيئاً وليست الغرلة شيئاً

You were bought at a price | لأنكم قد أشتريتم بثمن

All things are lawful for me but all things are not suitable | كل الأشياء تحل لي لكن ليس كل الأشياء توافق

But you were washed, you were sanctified | لكن اغتسلتم بل تقدستم

Get rid of the old yeast | إذا نقوا منكم الخميرة العتيقة

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything | إذا ليس الغارس شيئاً ولا الساقي

What we have received is not the spirit of the world | نحن لم نأخذ روح العالم

No one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God | أمور الله لا يعرفها أحد إلاروح الله

My message and my preaching were not with wise words | كلامي وكرازتي لم يكونا بكلام الحكمة

Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord | من افتخر فليفتخر بالرب

But God chose the foolish to shame the wise | إختار الله جهال العالم ليخزي الحكماء

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing | فإن كلمة الصليب عند الهالكين جهالة

He has made every thing beautiful in its time | صنع الكل حسناً في وقته

He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value | حاسباً عار المسيح غني

But she, out of her poverty, put in everything | وأما هذه فمن إعوازها ألقت كل ما عندها

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation | الصغير يصير ألفا والحقير أمة قوية

As you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming | منتظرين وطالبين سرعة مجئ يوم الرب

He does not want anyone to perish | هو لا يشاء أن يهلك أناس

The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials | يعلم الرب أن ينقذ الأتقياء من التجربة

But may The God of all grace complete you | وإله كل نعمة,.. هو يكملكم، ويثبتكم

Let us not become weary in doing good | فلا نفشل في عمل الخير

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you | ملقين كل همكم عليه، لأنه هو يعتني بكم

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand | فتواضعوا تحت يد الله القوية

Be shepherds of God’s flock | إرعوا رعية الله

Those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves | فإذا الذين يتألمون بحسب مشيئة الله. فليستودعوا أنفسهم

But rejoice as much as you participate in the sufferings of Christ | بل كما إشتركتم في آلام المسيح، إفرحو

For you have spent enough time in the past | لأن زمان الحياة الذي مضي يكفينا

Because whoever suffers in the body, is done with sin | فإن من تألم بالجسد, كف عن الخطية

Live as free people | كأحرار

But the word of the Lord endures forever | وأما كلمة الرب فتثبت إلى الأبد

Live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear | فسيروا زمان غربتكم بخوف
